0911 Lot16 - Ferrari

November 2009 Auction
Chestnut colt, 05/12/08
Fiji R (imp) x Anky
On account of NLS Concepts

Ferrari is one of the few Fiji R colts to come onto the market and exhibits a compact explosion of movement. Fiji R youngsters are fast gaining a reputation for having very powerful airborne paces in conjunction with a lovely placid temperament. Complimenting this explosion of movement is the dam, Anky, who herself was a movement machine.
She is by Ilkay who was an under-utilised imported stallion in Australia. Anky, right down on her bottom line, boasts one of the first imported Grand Prix dressage stallions into Australia in Elfenglanz. Annaglanz is out of Alpha II who was also the dam of Londoner, who was the Australian Prix St George and Inter 1 Champion with Heath Ryan in the
saddle. Londoner went on with Mary Hanna to win the Trans Tasman Grand Prix over and above the whole Australian Dressage Team and the New Zealand dressage team. Of course keep in mind Florencio won the 5 year old and the 6 year old World Young Horse Dressage Championship. Also Hawaii is by the leading Trakehner stallion His Highness. All of this comes together to produce Ferrari and what a
magnificent individual.
